157 days in... peaks and valleys
Today marks 157 days with being involved in DDP Yoga. I can't say that I've been overly active in the program as of late. Probably due to having the knee surgery about a month ago. However, I am enveloped into this program every day of my life. The lessons that I've learned about being accountable for my own actions, live within me daily.
I constantly stride for being the best that I can be. I fall off the proverbial wagon every now and again, but I do GET RIGHT BACK UP! I am trying to reach out to others on the program, but find it difficult when I can't personally show differences in my own health and physique.
That statement is purely coming from someone who doesn't think he is transforming himself. But on the flip side to that coin, I know I am changing internally and externally every day.
In fact, today I had to tighten the ol' belt one more notch! That is a feat for me. Even though i haven't lost a ton of weight on this program, I am definately gaining and losing in the right spots.
As far as my nutrition goes, lately, I haven't been healthier. I eat over 10 serviings of non starchy leafy greens daily. whether they are in salads or smoothies. I am drinking plenty of water daily.
So the next goals are here! It's Augus first. Today I start doing DDP Yoga for 1 hour a day 5 days a week. I am going to start documenting this journey through video blogs and written word. I am also going to start the beginning phses of getting certified to teach this awesome program. I won't be investing any money financially as of yet, in the certification but I will start documenting.
MY GOAL IS TO BE IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE BY THE END OF 2013!!!! I will be there. It's a slow process, but I am personally invested in my own life!
The 2014 goal is to become certified and to really be an inspiration to others.. The ground work is already laid out.. it's time to build this masterpiece one day at a time.
