MOTIVATION AND WHY WE CAN'T FIND IT SOMETIMES...
I am living proof that motivation is a bitch.... I don't know what it is, but when it comes to getting the motivation to workout seems to be like trying to figure out the meaning of life. Motivation is like a cat, and when you open the door, she sneaks right out without even stopping to say good bye. I have been on this long and winding road with getting into the best shape of my life, and I will have to tell you that my biggest hurdle that I constantly come across is finding motivation. Eating healthy is something that I do for at least 40 hours a week. While I'm at work (such as right now) I am the most driven to be healthy and get healthy. However, something happens from the time I leave work at 7PM to the time i get home. I lose it all. I don't want to workout, and I don't feel like working out. Now don't get me wrong, there are days when I'm ready to go. That day will probably be today. Mainly because I'm thinking so much and talking so much about it. As soon as I am not thinking about workout out and eating healthy, I'm kicked off the proverbial wagon once again. What is it that makes me motivated? I can only attribute my motivation to talking about it. Talking about health, nutrtion, and DDP Yoga. Thinking about even walking into a gym now a days just makes me wanna quit. I find it mundane, and boring, and also filled with jack asses who really think they got what it takes. Thats why I don't go. I do however, love DDP Yoga. I love the workout it gives me and it's never boring. Talking about it motivates me. If only I can surround myself around it all the time. That is why I want to get certified. I want to find ways to incorporate DDP Yoga into my professional life. What motivates you? What keeps you going? What picks you up when you fall down? Please comment... STEVE
